Lucas van Foreest, Dutch chess grandmaster, brings sharp strategic thinking and relentless precision to our platform. Lucas began playing chess at the age of six and quickly rose through the ranks. He earned the title of International Master in 2016 and became a Grandmaster in 2018. In 2019, he was crowned Dutch Chess Champion, winning a decisive tie-break against his brother. His mindset—built on logic, discipline, and optimization—is deeply embedded in how our AI agent solves hotel booking challenges.
Kees Eldering, one of the original pioneers of hotel tech in the Netherlands, co-founded Hotels.nl, one of the country’s first and most successful online hotel booking platforms. His journey began long before the modern internet—back in 1993—as a co-owner of one of the first commercial BBS networks in the country. In 2007, Hotels.nl was awarded 2nd place in the Deloitte Technology Fast50, recognizing it as one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the Netherlands. Under his leadership, the platform served millions of customers and was voted Best Hotel Booking Site in both 2017 and 2018 by independent review platform Zoover.
